The Kubik custom-built home in Coplay, Pennsylvania was designed with an aesthetic that is unique to the homeowner’s personal style. This Lehigh Valley dream home was built with an open-concept living space with a large entertainment area outside to host family gatherings. This ranch home consists of four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bathroom, and 2,170 square feet of living space.

This home was built during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, providing a different building experience as we had to communicate virtually with the homeowner. To make collaboration easy, we communicated through emails and conducted quick outdoor meetings in a local Target parking lot. We made most of the home’s selections virtually during the lockdown.

The Outside Gathering Space

The home features popular charcoal grey siding by Certainteed. The full front porch features square columns and a vinyl railing to allow the homeowner minimal maintenance. The 3-inch wide window trim and the Therma Tru double entry front door tie the look of the home together.

Around the back of the home, the covered rear deck provides a perfect entertainment space. Fans were installed to stay cool on warm nights and to keep the bugs away. The patio is a Trex deck and features the same vinyl railing as the front porch.

The Custom-Designed Interior

The double entry front door leads you straight into the open-concept living areas of the foyer, dining room, great room, and kitchen. The main living spaces have engineered hardwood floors.

The kitchen is bright with white painted maple cabinets and granite countertops. The sink wall features Viwinco casement windows above the super-sized single bowl sink. The range wall has oversized drawers for easy pot and pan storage.

The great room has access to the rear-covered deck and features a Napoleon gas fireplace. Angelo Corrado custom designed the mantel shelf above the fireplace.

We added cozy upgraded carpet and padding to the master bedroom to make footsteps quiet and toes warm. The master bathroom features a his and hers vanity with the tiled walk-in shower being the main focal point of the room.
